The chirag lamp has been handcrafted in traditional soda-ash pot glass. It features hand-blown and hand-cut designs and elements. It is a vintage design often seen in aristocratic Indian households and other heritage interiors. 

Note that here the colour has not been added on top of the glass. In pot glass, colouring salts are added to the molten glass for long-lasting, durable colour.
