Himalayan Wildflowers Archival Print
Price inclusive of GST
This artwork depicts three beautiful Himalayan wildflowers; the Water Mint, Wallach’s Cobra Lily, and Commelina. All three of these species are threatened due to climate change, and are only seen sporadically. The Cobra Lily has especially been long associated with the town of Landour, and residents look forward to seeing their distinct shape and red berries.
This is a museum-grade reproduction of one of three paintings on species of the Garhwal Himalayas by reputed botanical artist Avantika Shrivastav, an SBA fellow and co-founder of the Indian Botanical Art Society. These art works were commissioned by South of Indus as part of the Landour collection.
Printed on 310gsm, 100% cotton, acid-free paper
