Our Mahaseer stole has been hand-woven by legacy weavers in the Pithoragarh region of Uttarakhand. Woven in 100% merino wool, it pays homage to the plethora of fish motifs that appear in Indus Valley pottery; particularly the prized sacred freshwater carp locally known as the Mahaseer.
