Noor - Parchinkari Fruit Bowl
Price inclusive of GST
This exquisite bowl has been crafted in the workshop of award-winning mastercraftsmen using just two pieces of high-quality Makrana marble. The art of Parchinkari, which is native to India. A negative image of the design is first cut into the base stone and then semi-precious stones such as carnelian, onyx and lapis lazuli are cut into shapes before meticulously inlaying them. A fine jaali, or net, has been cut into the base of the bowl to keep airflow to any fruits kept in it.
The mark of a true Parchinkari master is the clean boundaries, thin, seamless inlay, with little to no visibility of the binding cement, and this bowl is for the true connoisseur who appreciates finesse and maximalism in everyday items.
